Alpha Dhabi joins ADQ to set up UAE’s largest healthcare platform

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Alpha Dhabi Holding (ADH) has partnered with ADQ to establish the largest healthcare platform in the UAE through ADH’s subsidiary Pure Health Medical Supplies, according to a bourse disclosure to Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX).

Upon the agreement between ADH and ADQ, both Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA) and National Health Insurance Company (Daman) are merging into Pure Health. This will be in addition to Tamouh Healthcare, Yas Clinic Group, and Abu Dhabi Stem Cell Center which will become part of ADH’s subsidiary.

In a separate statement, ADQ said the integrated healthcare ecosystem of Pure Health will boost the UAE’s healthcare segment, as patients will have access to large clinical expertise and services.

CEO of ADQ, Mohamed Hassan Alsuwaidi, said: “Pure Health will be instrumental in transforming the provision of healthcare as we consolidate several companies into the platform. We are further driving efficiencies to establish the UAE’s largest healthcare network, underpinned by clinical excellence, through elevated services, optimised healthcare spend and improved efficiencies across the value chain.”

ADQ said it will become the largest shareholder in Pure Health, besides ADH, International Holding Company (IHC), AH Capital, and Ataa Financial Investments.

Mohamed Thani Murshed Al Rumaithi, Chairman of ADH, said: “Going forward, Pure Health will actively seek expansion opportunities globally to further diversify its portfolio and leverage its success in the UAE.”

Managing Director and CEO of Pure Health, Farhan Malik, remarked: “Pure Health remains committed to delivering convenient, accessible, and transparent healthcare as we become the largest integrated healthcare services platform in the UAE.
