Riyadh – Mubasher: Almunajem Foods Company posted 155.87% year-on-year (YoY) higher net profits at SAR 181.72 million in the first half (H1) of 2026, compared to SAR 71.02 million.
The company attributed the growth to enhanced profit margins for major product groups, including red and white meats, vegetables, fruits, and dairy.
For the second quarter (Q2) of 2026, net profit reached SAR 84.70 million, a 173.23% rise compared to SAR 31 million in the prior-year quarter.
Quarterly revenue grew by 1.91% to SAR 812.50 million, supported by improved market conditions.
However, compared to Q1-26, net profit declined by 12.68% from SAR 97 million. This sequential drop was linked to seasonal consumption shifts affecting dairy and oil volumes, alongside higher marketing and supply chain costs related to the expansion of its logistics subsidiary, LoadLy.
The company's earnings per share for the half-year period rose to SAR 3.03 from SAR 1.18. Total shareholders' equity reached SAR 1,161.75 million, up from SAR 1.02 billion a year earlier.
Additionally, the group recorded an unrealized loss of SAR 4.90 million on financial assets during H1-26.
In Q1-26, the company generated 142.50% higher net profits at SAR 97 million when compared to SAR 40 million at the end of March 2025.
