Riyadh — Mubasher: Alkhorayef Water and Power Technologies Company was awarded a contract valued at SAR 101.32 million, excluding value-added tax, for the operation and maintenance of water and sewage networks in Al Khobar.
The project was awarded by the National Water Company (NWC) following a competitive bidding process, according to a bourse filing.
Under the terms of the agreement, Alkhorayef Water will manage the infrastructure services for a duration of 36 months. The scope of work specifically covers the comprehensive operation and maintenance requirements for both water and sanitation systems within the city of Al Khobar.
The company expects the financial impact of this contract to begin appearing in its financial results during the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2026.
Management noted that further updates will be disclosed following the receipt of the final signed contract from all involved parties. The company confirmed that there are no related parties involved in this transaction.
On 9 July, Alkhorayef Water won a SAR 65.58 million a contract for water infrastructure services in the Saudi central region.
