Alinma Bank’s net profits jump to SAR 3.2bn in H1-26

Riyadh – Mubasher: Alinma Bank recorded a net profit of SAR 3.27 billion for the first six months (6M) of 2026, marking a 6.24% increase from SAR 3.08 billion in the corresponding period of the previous year.

The bank attributed the growth to a 6.56% rise in total operating profit, which reached SAR 6.14 billion, supported by higher net income from financing and investments.

For the second quarter (Q2) ending 30 June 2026, net profit reached SAR 1.60 billion, a 1.39% increase compared to SAR 1.57 billion in the same quarter of 2025. Total operating profit for the three-month period grew by 6.17% to SAR 3.13 billion.

However, the bank noted that quarterly net profit was impacted by a 42.20% increase in expected credit loss provisions, which rose to SAR 400 million.

The bank's balance sheet showed significant expansion, with total assets increasing by 10.79% to SAR 329.29 billion. The financing and investment portfolio grew by 11.58% to SAR 243.91B, while customer deposits rose +6.66% to SAR 245.25 billion.

Earnings per share (EPS) for the six-month period improved to SAR 0.98, up from SAR 0.96 a year earlier. Total shareholders' equity, excluding non-controlling interests, stood at SAR 50.12 billion.

In Q1-26, the lender’s net profits to the shareholders hiked by 11.30% YoY to SAR 1.67 billion from SAR 1.50 billion.
