Alexandria logistics centre feasibility study to end in 5M

Cairo – Mubasher: The feasibility study of logistics centre in the coastal city of Alexandria will be completed within the coming five months, Ahmed El Wakil, President of the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce (FEDCOC) told the Middle East News Agency (MENA) on Wednesday.

El Wakil added that the study covers investment cost of the centre, funding and its blueprint.

The centre will be constructed on an area of 80 acres (feddans), he noted, giving no further information about the centre's cost.

The new logistics centre aims to help Alexandria restore its position as a business hub in the Middle East through attracting tourism of conferences and exhibitions, El Wakil said.

Moreover, the centre will comprise logistics service zone, commodity exchange, conference hall and an area for exhibitions, FEDCOC president concluded.
