Cairo – Mubasher: Alexandria Container and Cargo Handling Company has announced dates for the disbursement of cash dividends in Egyptian pound and US dollars for the fiscal year (FY) 2022/2023.
The company will pay two coupons worth around $0.015 and EGP 1.935 per share in cash dividends on 7 March 2024 for holders of eligible shares until 4 March, according to a bourse filing.
Earlier in February, Alexandria Container’s ordinary general meeting (OGM) approved the distribution of $22.50 million in cash dividends for shareholders and EGP 2.40 per share for free-float shareholders.
The EGX-listed company posted a 23% year-on-year (YoY) increase in net profits after taxes to EGP 2.21 billion in the first half (H1) of FY 2023/2024.
In FY2022/2023, Alexandria Container’s net profit reached EGP 4.38 billion, a 116.35% YoY surge from EGP 2.02 billion.
