Cairo - Mubasher: Alexandria Container and Cargo Handling Company (ALCN) on Sunday reported a 9.6% year-on-year decrease in its net profit during the first four months of fiscal year 2018/2019.
Profits amounted to EGP 671.3 million in the four-month period ended October, compared with EGP 742.4 million for the year-ago period, the company said in a statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).
Revenue increased to EGP 945.3 million in the July-October period of this year, against EGP 938.8 million in the corresponding period of 2017.
ALCN previously posted a 12.3% year-on-year decline in its net profit during the first quarter of FY18/19.
Net profits reached EGP 494.5 million in the three-month period ending in September, compared with EGP 564 million for the same period last year
