Aldar Properties sells plots in Alghadeer

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Aldar Properties has announced the sale of two land plots in Alghadeer for the construction of Alghadeer International School, along with retail outlets and other projects, according to a company statement released on Tuesday.

“The addition of Alghadeer International School, retail outlets, LuLu supermarket and clinic will increase the range of convenience-driven amenities and facilities for existing and future residents at Alghadeer, creating more complete neighbourhoods,” Aldar Properties’s CEO Talal Al Dhiyebi said.

Situated on 38,809 square metres area, Alghadeer International School, a British curriculum private school, is planned to operate as of September 2020, with a capacity of 1,500 students from FS1 to Grade 12 in addition to a nursery, the Abu Dhabi-listed developer revealed.

“Developing this community shows the momentum in the Alghadeer development and is in line with our strategy to deliver desirable destinations and provide residents with a truly enriched community living experience focused on comfort, accessibility and convenience,” Al Dhiyebi commented.

The sale deal’s consideration was not revealed.

Earlier in April, Aldar launched the AED 10 billion Alghadeer master community in proximity to Abu Dhabi and Dubai emirates.
