Abu Dhabi - Mubasher: Aldar Properties on Monday unveiled The Cedars, a new community in the company’s Yas Acres development.
The Cedars will encompass two school plots complete with sporting facilities, which will accept students aged 3 to 18 years and will be accessible to all Yas Island residents, the Abu Dhabi-listed developer said in a statement.
While Aldar did not disclose the value of the project, it did say that the first three phases of Yas Acres were underway and slated for delivery in 2019.
“Located on the northern shores of Yas Island, Yas Acres will add, upon completion, 1,315 premium townhouses and villas to the island,” Aldar added.
It is worth noting that Yas Island is home to the Yas Marina Circuit, where the Abu Dhabi Formula 1 Grand Prix is held every year, as well as the Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Yas Waterworld, Yas Mall, and Yas Links Golf & Country Club.
In July, the mega-development welcomed the Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi theme park, a global attraction to visit according to the TIME magazine 2018.
