Riyadh – Mubasher: Alahli Takaful Company registered net profits before Zakat worth SAR 7.09 million in the first half (H1) of 2021, up 4.9% from SAR 6.76 million in H1-20.
Earnings per share rose to SAR 0.23 in H1-21 from SAR 0.21 in H1-20, according to the financial results on Tadawul.
Net written premiums increased by 1.9% to SAR 99.74 million in the first six months of 2021 from SAR 97.85 million in the same period last year.
The net incurred claims jumped by 180.7% to SAR 11.27 million in H1-21 from SAR 4.01 million in H1-20.
As for the second quarter (Q2) of 2021, Alahli Takaful posted a plunge of 65% in net profits to SAR 1.36 million from SAR 3.9 million in Q2-20. On a quarterly basis, the profits were 76% lower than SAR 5.73 million in Q1-21.
