Riyadh - Mubasher: Al Yamamah Steel Industries Company announced net profits amounting to SAR 62.09 million for the quarter that ended on 30 June 2026, an annual leap of 303.90% from SAR 15.37 million.
The company attributed the sharp rise to higher sales volumes and values within the electricity sector, which grew by 51.28% and 44.18%, respectively, alongside a 9.37% increase in construction sector sales value.
Quarterly revenue reached SAR 547.46 million, up 14.66% from SAR 477.45 million a year earlier.
Profitability was further supported by an 11.94% rise in selling prices for the construction segment and a reduction in the cost of sales across both core divisions.
In the first nine months (9M) of fiscal year (FY) 2025/2026, the net profit climbed by 253.55% to SAR 148.18 million, compared to SAR 41.91 million in the previous year.
Total revenue for the nine months stood at SAR 1.57 billion, a 6.57% increase from SAR 1.47 billion.
Earnings per share (EPS) for the period rose to SAR 2.92 from SAR 0.83.
Total shareholders' equity, excluding non-controlling interests, was reported at SAR 770.01 million.
