Riyadh - Mubasher: Al Yamama Rebar Company, a unit of Al Yamamah Steel Industries Company, has identified Italy’s Danieli as the specialized European firm contracted for the production of steel billets.
The disclosure serves as a formal update to the company's previous announcement made on 15 July 2026.
Under the terms of the agreement, Danieli will be responsible for the manufacturing, supply, and installation of equipment required for steel billet production.
Al Yamama Steel noted that the counterparty's specific identity was initially withheld on 15 July, filing to protect commercial secrets and maintain competitive advantages for the subsidiary and its shareholders.
The company confirmed that there is no financial impact resulting from this specific disclosure update. The original announcement was published in compliance with transparency and disclosure requirements while balancing the protection of proprietary business interests as determined by the subsidiary's management.
On 14 July, the unit signed a SAR 270 million contract with a specialized European company for the manufacture, supply, and installation of iron billet production equipment.
