Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Al Wathba National Insurance Company (AWNIC) posted a net profit of AED 48.18 million ($13.12 million) in the first six months of 2015, registering a sharp decline of 68.17% from AED 151.36 million ($41.2 million) in H1-14, according to a bourse filing to the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) on Wednesday.
At level of the second quarter, AWNIC reported a 46% decline in profits to AED 41.47 million compared to AED 76.7 million in Q2-14.
The insurance firm previously posted a 91% plunge in profits in the Q1-15 to AED 6.7 million, compared to AED 74.66 million in Q1-14.
