Al Naqool shareholders agree to double capital for strategic growth plans

Riyadh — Mubasher: Mohammed Hasan Al Naqool Sons Company announced that its extraordinary general assembly (EGM) approved a 100% capital increase to support the company’s strategic growth plans.

The capital expansion also aims to strengthen Al Naqool’s financial position, by rising from SAR 29 million to SAR 58 million, according to the company disclosure.

The capital hike process will be executed through the issuance of one bonus share for every one share held by existing shareholders.

This will increase the total number of the company's shares from 2.90 million to 5.80 million, funded by capitalizing SAR 29 million from the retained earnings account.

Meanwhile, eligibility for the bonus shares is for shareholders owning stock at the end of trading on the day of the assembly, 27 July 2026, and who are registered with the Securities Depository Center at the end of the second trading day following the eligibility date.

In the event of fractional shares, the company confirmed they will be consolidated into a single portfolio and sold at market price, with proceeds distributed to eligible shareholders within 30 days.

The assembly, which saw a 62.44% attendance rate, also approved amendments to the company’s bylaws regarding capital and share subscriptions.
