Al Mal Investment incurs higher losses in Q2

Mubasher: Al Mal Investment posted an increase of 38% in losses during the second quarter of 2018 compared to the same period last year.

Losses enlarged to approximately KWD 663,600 in Q2-18 from nearly KWD 480,500 in Q2-17, according to a bourse statement on Sunday.

During the first half of 2018, Al Mal suffered a rise of 99% in losses to KWD 1.24 million from KWD 626,000 in the same six months of 2017.

The increase in H1 losses is attributed to a change in the fair value of investments in addition to financial statements of associates in Q2.
