Al Babtain Power unveils timeline, mechanism for Q1-26 cash dividends

Riyadh – Mubasher: Al Babtain Power and Telecommunication Company has officially announced the timeline and mechanism for the distribution of cash dividends to its shareholders for the first quarter (Q1) of 2026.

Following the board’s approval of the payout, the company confirmed that eligible investors will receive a distribution of SAR 0.50 per share, representing a dividend yield of 5% based on the nominal value of the stock.

In a regulatory filing on the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul), Al Babtain Power stated that the disbursement process is scheduled to commence on Tuesday, 23 June. This distribution follows the previously established eligibility criteria, which identified shareholders of record as those holding the company’s stock at the close of trading on Tuesday, 9 June 2026.

As per the standard settlement procedures in the Saudi market, the final list of eligible recipients includes those registered in the company’s shareholder registry at the Securities Depository Center Company (Edaa) by the end of the second trading day following the eligibility date.

This T+2 settlement cycle ensures that all transactions conducted on the entitlement date are fully reflected in the official registry before the funds are released.

The company has appointed Arab National Bank (ANB) to manage the distribution process. According to the announcement, the dividends will be deposited directly into the investment accounts of the shareholders, which are linked to their respective portfolios across all local commercial banks in the Kingdom.

This automated electronic transfer system is designed to streamline the payment process and ensure that funds reach investors efficiently and securely.

To facilitate a smooth transaction, the management of Al Babtain Power has urged its shareholders to ensure that their bank account information and investment portfolio data are fully updated and linked.

Shareholders who require assistance or have inquiries regarding the payment process are encouraged to contact ANB directly. The bank has provided a dedicated contact number, 920000478, which is available during official working hours from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
