Riyadh – Mubasher: Al Babtain Power and Telecommunication Company registered a net profit of SAR 294.80 million in the first half (H1) of 2026, an annual leap of 58.58% from the SAR 185.90 million.
The company attributed the growth to higher sales volumes alongside enhanced production efficiency and cost reduction measures.
Revenues for the half-year period reached SAR 1.56 billion, up 18.13% from SAR 1.32 billion a year earlier. Earnings per share (EPS) improved to SAR 4.61 from SAR 2.91.
This expansion was driven by increased activity across the towers, metal structures, and design and installation segments. Operating profit for the period climbed by 38.61% to SAR 350 million.
For the second quarter (Q2) of 2026, the company posted a net profit of SAR 151.60 million, a +55.17% increase compared to SAR 97.70 million in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. Quarterly revenue rose by 17.80% to SAR 809.90 million.
Total shareholders' equity, excluding non-controlling interests, hit SAR 1.57 billion as of 30 June 2026.
During January-March 2026, Al Babtain Power logged net profit valued at SAR 143.30 million.
