Al Aman Investment logs 10% profit hike in Q1

Mubasher: Kuwait-based Al Aman Investment reported a 10% year-on-year increase in profits during the first quarter of 2019.

The company’s profits reached KWD 914,810 ($3.02 million) in Q1-19, compared to KWD 831,960 ($2.74 million) during Q1-18, according to a statement to Boursa Kuwait on Sunday.

Al Aman Investment attributed the rise in profits to an increase in unrealised profits from investments in fair value (FV).

In 2018, the firm’s profits soared 231% to KWD 828,160, against from KWD 250,200 a year earlier.
