Al Ahleia Insurance H1 profits rise 17% on higher revenue

 Mubasher: Al Ahleia Insurance achieved a surge of 41.7% in profits to KWD 2.72 million ($9 million) during the second quarter of 2018 compared to KWD 1.92 million ($6.35 million) in the same period a year ago.

During the first half of 2018, the insurance company reported a growth of 15.6% in earnings to KWD 5.55 million compared to KWD 4.8 million in the same half last year, according to a bourse filing on Tuesday.

The incline in H1 profits is attributed to higher operating revenue and return on investment.
