Mubasher: Ajwan Gulf Real Estate announced that the period set for the rights issue to raise its capital has ended on Sunday, according to a bourse statement issued on Sunday.
Ajwan clarified that it will present a statement over this rights issue to the Capital Markets Authority (CMA) during the legal period granted to the ocmpany.
In mid-March, the CMA has approved for Ajwan to extend its capital hike’s rights issue until 15 October, while the first renewal was from 31 July to 15 August.
On 9 April, the CMA agreed on the rights issue prospectus of Ajwan to increase its capital by KWD 13.66 million to KWD 21 million from KWD 7.34 million.
At the stock level, Ajwan closed Sunday’s session 8% higher at 59.9 fils.
