UAE - Mubasher: Ajman Free Zone (AFZ) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Zajel, a firm specialised in logistics and transport, Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported.
Upon the deal, Zajel will provide AFZ's business partners with smart shipping and delivery services, including local and international couriers, as well as logistics solutions through land, sea, and air services.
The collaboration comes in line with AFZ’s strategy to expand its alliance with other partners in order to develop the quality of its services and solutions.
Ali AlSuwaidi, Director General of AFZ, noted: "Through this MoU, we will facilitate investors and members of the local business community with access to a wide variety of delivery and shipment services.”
Meanwhile, Yousuf Alkhaja, CEO of Zajel, said: “Under this agreement, a platform for logistics and delivery services is provided as part of the series of value-added services that AFZ offers to its business partners and customers.”
Alkhaja added: “The established partnership will help realise the strategic goals of both parties to provide diverse services that meet the international standards and enhance customer experience."
It is worth noting that AFZ registered 867 new companies in the first half (H1) of 2021, higher by 35% than 567 in H1-20.
