Acwa’s profits exceed SAR 1.8bn in 2025

Riyadh – Mubasher: Acwa achieved SAR 1.85 billion in net profit attributable to shareholders during 2025, marking a 5.42% year-on-year (YoY) rise from SAR 1.75 billion.

The earnings per share (EPS) climbed to SAR 2.47 in January-December 2025 from SAR 2.38 a year earlier, according to the financial statements.

The Saudi company logged an annual jump of 17.73% in revenue to SAR 7.41 billion at the end of 2025, compared to SAR 6.29 billion.

Marco Arcelli, the former CEO of Acwa, said: “This has been a year of acceleration, scale, and maturation, a year in which ACWA not only expanded at a record pace, but also strengthened the foundations required to sustain our leadership journey toward 2030 and beyond.”

“With my contractual term nearing its conclusion, we agreed with the board that this is the right time to activate the company’s leadership succession plans, as it is both responsible and forward-looking to ensure that the next CEO is in place to provide continuity and lead the organization through this important phase of maturity,” Arcelli noted.

During the first nine months (9M) of 2025, ACWA Power logged 2.01% YoY higher net profits at SAR 1.28 billion, compared with SAR 1.25 billion.
