Dubai – Mubasher: Arabian Scandinavian Insurance Company (ASCANA) posted a 0.4% year-on-year rise in its profits during the second quarter of 2017, according to a bourse statement.
Profits reached AED 7.63 million ($2.07 million) in Q2-17, compared to AED 7.66 million ($2.08 million) in Q2-16.
General and administrative expenses (G&A) rose 100% to AED 8.98 million in Q2-17, compared to AED 4.49 million in Q2-16.
In the first half of 2017, profits rose 8% to AED 27.78 million from AED 25.75 million in the prior-year period.
