Riyadh - Mubasher: ARTEX Industrial Investment Company shifted to net losses valued at SAR 2.07 million for the second quarter (Q2) of 2026, compared to net profits of SAR 1.35 million in Q2-25.
The company attributed the downturn to a decline in sales volumes, particularly within the domestic market, driven by prevailing geopolitical conditions and rising costs of sales.
Quarterly revenue fell by 6.31% to SAR 120.17 million, compared to SAR 128.26 million in the prior-year period.
On a sequential basis, sales dropped by 20.63% from SAR 151.40 million in Q1-26, a decline the company linked to historical seasonal demand patterns and geopolitical factors.
Gross profit for the quarter reached SAR 7.09 million, a decrease of 52.86% year-on-year (YoY).
In the first half (H1) of 2026, the net profits amounted to SAR 12.20 million, an annual drop of 16.78% from the SAR 14.66 million. Half-year revenue totaled SAR 271.57 million, down from SAR 300.58 million.
Earnings per share (EPS) for the six-month period stood at SAR 0.15, compared to SAR 0.18 a year earlier. Total shareholders' equity, excluding non-controlling interests, was reported at SAR 1.07 billion.
In January-March 2026, the listed company logged net profits valued at SAR 14.27 million, up 21.55% YoY from SAR 11.74 million.
