ANB registers SAR 2.7bn net profits in H1-26

Riyadh – Mubasher: Arab National Bank (ANB) generated a net profit of SAR 2.78 billion for the first six months (6M) of 2026, an annual rise of 5.38% from the SAR 2.64 billion.

The bank attributed the growth to higher net special commission income and a 25.36% reduction in expected credit loss provisions, which fell to SAR 315 million due to improved portfolio quality.

For the second quarter (Q2) of 2026, net profit reached SAR 1.42 billion, up 6.51% from SAR 1.34 billion in the prior-year quarter.

Total operating income for the three-month period rose by 6.53% to SAR 2.74 billion. The lender noted that total special commission income from financing grew by 3.64% to SAR 3.22 billion, supported by a 10.35% expansion in the loans and advances portfolio to SAR 205.78 billion.

ANB’s balance sheet showed total assets hit SAR 295.52 billion as of 30 June 2026, a 9.61% increase year-on-year (YoY). Customer deposits grew by 7.95% to SAR 217.75 billion, while total shareholders' equity rose by 20.29% to SAR 52.44 billion.

Earnings per share (EPS) for the six-month period stood at SAR 1.28.

In Q1-26, the net profits attributable to the shareholders jumped by 4.21% to SAR 1.35 billion from SAR 1.30 billion in Q1-25.
