Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange’s (ADX) general index lost 46.94 points, or 0.94%, to close at 4,939.94 points on Sunday.
The ADX’s trading volume reached 14.61 million shares, while the market’s liquidity amounted to AED 41 million.
The banks sector lost 1.14%, as First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) went down 1.49% and Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) decreased by 0.7%.
The telecommunication sector and its only stock, Etisalat, levelled down 1% each.
The real estate sector inched down 0.03% after RAK Properties lost 0.32%.
In contrast, the consumer staples sector added 0.14%, while the insurance sector edged up 0.03%.
First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) topped the ADX in terms of liquidity, with a turnover of AED 19.63 million and Dana Gas led the market on the basis of volume, with 4.045 million traded shares.
