ADX plunges more than 15 pts in week

Abu Dhabi - Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange’s general index lost 15.66 points, or 0.31%, to 5,038.99 points in a week.

Over the week, market capitalisation went down to AED 514.15 billion, compared to AED 514.9 billion in the previous week.

Trading volume reached 302 million shares, while liquidity amounted to AED 744 million.

The real estate sector declined by 0.86%, while the banking and energy sectors shed 0.6% and 1%, respectively.

The Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) lost 1.8%, as Aldar Properties sank 0.9% and First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) went down by 0.66%.
