Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) opened Sunday at a slight rise, following the near-week-long Eid Al Adha holiday.
The ADX’s general index edged up 0.08% or 3.9 points to reach 4,888 points.
One hour into the trading session, ADNOC Distribution grew 0.43%, First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) added 0.35%, while Etisalat and Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) increased 0.3% and 0.26%, respectively.
On the other hand, Abu Dhabi National Energy “TAQA” led losers, sliding 9.84%.
Turnover amounted to AED 16.2 million after 2.89 million shares changed hands through 124 transactions.
The ADX’s general index had closed Sunday, ahead of the Eid holiday, in the red.
