Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) inched down by 0.24% or 12.02 points by the end of Tuesday’s trading session, closing at the level of 5,075.48 points.
The trading volume amounted to 46.37 million shares traded through 2,109 transactions, at a turnover came in AED 179.09 million.
The market cap value fell by AED 658 million to AED 519.3 billion.
The real estate sector fell by 1.1%, while the telecom sector index solely added 0.24%.
Sharjah Cement and Industrial Development led the losing stocks with 10%, while Emirates Insurance headed the gainers as it rose by 11.11%.
First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) recorded the highest liquidity of AED 39.78 million and closed down 0.52%, while Aldar Properties led the trading activity through the exchange of 12.72 million shares and ended the session down 1.3%.
Meanwhile, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) and Dana Gas rose by 1.04% and 0.56%, respectively.
