ADX gains 6 pts on real estate, banks Wednesday

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange’s (ADX) general index added 6.49 points, or 0.13%, to close at 4,963.25 points on Wednesday, backed by the real estate and banks sectors.

The ADX’s trading volume reached 19.68 million shares, while the market’s liquidity hit AED 108.472 million.

The real estate sector went up 0.43%, as Aldar Properties gained 0.5%, and the banks sector increased by 0.31% after First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) added 0.34%.

On the other hand, the energy sector declined 0.32%, as Dana Gas shed 0.9%, while the investment sector lost 2.49% after Waha Capital decreased by 2.7%.
