ADX closes Monday’ session in green

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) rose by 1.71% to close at 5,160.73 points by the end of Monday’s trading session.

ADX’s turnover registered AED 202.428 million where 41.084 million shares were traded through 2,424 transactions.

A group of 14 stocks rose, led by Ras Al Khaimah Cement (RAK Cement) which levelled up by 6.62%, while a group of eight stocks declined, led by Arkan Building Materials Co which shed by 5.61%.

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) headed the trading activity with AED 61.732 million, while Al Dar Properties was the most active stock with 8.958 million shares exchanged.

In terms of blue chips, the stock of Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB), First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), and Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank - Egypt (ADIB) edged up by 2.92%, 2%, and 0.99%, respectively.
