ADNTC records lower profits in 9M

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The interim financials of Abu Dhabi National Takaful Company (ADNTC) decreased to AED 61.248 million in the first nine months of 2021 from AED 63.917 million in the year-ago period.

The company's net claims incurred increased to AED 48.961 million in the January-September period of 2021 from AED 44.962 million in the corresponding period of 2020.

The insurer's net written contributions declined to AED 79.12 million in the first nine months of 2021 from AED 134.675 million in the same period of the earlier year.

The basic and diluted earnings per share (EPS) stood at AED 0.61 in the January-September period of 2021, compared to AED 0.64 in the same nine months of the earlier year.

It is noteworthy to mention that during the first half (H1) of 2021, ADNTC's net profits increased by 7% to AED 49.74 million, compared to AED 46.29 million in the same half of 2020.
