Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) company has contributed AED 4.9 billion to the UAE economy during 2019, up by 46% when compared to 2018, according to the Emirates News Agency (WAM).
Therefore, the company's total contribution to the local economy amounted to AED 36.9 billion since its inception in 2005.
The company's 2019 strong performance was driven by a 15.8% growth in the number of visitors to around 2.3 million last year, raising the total number of visitors to 19.8 million since 2005.
Moreover, ADNEC has hosted 496 events in 2019 and 3,887 since 2015.
