ACWA Power eyes SAR 7.1bn capital hike

Riyadh – Mubasher: ACWA Power Company has submitted an application request to increase its capital by offering the rights issue to the Capital Market Authority (CMA) on 18 December 2024.

The board recommended the capital hike through the issuance of rights shares for a total offering value of SAR 7.12 billion, according to a bourse disclosure.

As of 30 September 2024, the Saudi company logged net profits valued at SAR 1.25 billion, higher by 15.97% than SAR 1.08 billion in 9M-23.

The revenues climbed by 6.44% to SAR 4.56 billion in the first nine months (9M) of 2024 from SAR 4.28 billion in 9M-23, while the earnings per share (EPS) hiked to SAR 1.71 from SAR 1.48.
