Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange’s (ADX) general index grew 83.81 points, or 1.82%, to close at 4,687.01 points in the week ended Thursday, 12 July on the back of the telecommunications, real estate, and energy sectors.
The telecommunications sector and its only stock, Etisalat, added 3.61% each, while the energy sector rose 2.34%, as TAQA surged 5.26%.
The real estate sector increased by 1.58% after Aldar Properties went up 1.96%.
Over the week, market capitalisation reached AED 474.682 billion.
Trading volume amounted to 146.886 million shares, while liquidity recorded AED 429.163 million.
