Monsha’at honored for supporting entrepreneurs at Mayda Mohieddin Nazer Innovation Award

Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: The Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monsha’at) was honored for its role in supporting and empowering entrepreneurial projects at the fourth “Mayda Mohieddin Nazer Innovation Award”, held as part of the Innovation Hackathon at Dar Al-Hekma University from 4 to 8 October, 2026.

Monsha’at participated as the hackathon’s entrepreneurship partner, working alongside Dar Al-Hekma University and the Saleh Abdullah Kamel Humanitarian Foundation. Its contribution included supporting participants through an integrated ecosystem of incubation, mentoring, and project evaluation to help turn innovative ideas into practical solutions.

The hackathon brought together 150 participants across 41 teams, which presented 41 projects leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) and emerging technologies to address social challenges. The competition focused on improving the experience of pilgrims and visitors to the holy cities, promoting social inclusion for older people and the visually impaired, and developing sustainable social solutions.

Over five days, participants took part in 11 workshops and 74 mentoring sessions delivered by 19 experts and specialists. Twenty teams advanced to present their final solutions to the judging panel.

The total prize pool exceeded SAR 200,000, supporting young innovators and encouraging the development of scalable, technology-driven solutions aligned with Saudi Vision 2030.
