10 Egyptian startups win at VMS Bridge Program

Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: The Saudi venture studio Value Maker Studio (VMS) concluded the first edition of its Bridge Program which aims to foster startups in Saudi Arabia and Egypt and bridge the entrepreneurial ecosystems of both countries.

A recent statement unveiled that five Egyptian startups won a four-day visit to the Kingdom to meet with several Saudi investors and explore potential investment opportunities to grow and expand into the Kingdom and the broader region.

The five startups are Amanleek, Farhy, Sprints, Career 180, and Jamaykaa.

Notchno and Neqabty, part of the AAST Entrepreneurship Center's Rally Accelerate program, were awarded the Saudi entrepreneurship license to establish and scale their operations in Saudi Arabia.

Additionally, three startups won special prizes from Arweqah, a leading company in the field of social entrepreneurship, securing their seats at the Arweqah’s Investment Readiness Program - Fast Track for free. The three startups are AgryCash, ReNile, and ICareer.

The first edition of the VMS Bridge Program took place in Cairo from 18 to 20 April, with the participation of 50 startups.

The bootcamp program targets fostering a dynamic exchange of knowledge, innovation, and cultural insights, empowering startups with the requisite skills and understanding to successfully enter and flourish in new markets.
