Deals worth AED 3.42bn announced on day 4 of IDEX

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The fourth day of the International Defence Exhibition and Conference (IDEX) 2017 saw the signing of deals worth more than AED 3.42 billion ($931.7 million), according to brigadier general Rashid Mohammed Al Shamsi, official spokesman for IDEX.

A total of 20 deals were signed on Wednesday, of which 13 were inked with local companies and 7 with regional and international entities, Al Shamsi added.

A deal worth AED 1.29 billion was inked with the US defence company Raytheon to supply UAE Air Force and UAE Air Defence Force with equipment, and another deal valued at AED 745.2 million was signed with Star Satellite Telecom, the spokesman added .

A contract valued at AED 300 million was signed with Trust International Group, and another one worth AED 140.3 million was made with Abu Dhabi Autonomous Systems Investments Co.
