QSE closes 0.17% higher

Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) closed Wednesday’s session rising 0.17% or 18.97 points to the level of 10,952.66 points.

Trading volume increased to 13.81 million shares from 10.58 million shares exchanged on Tuesday. Turnover also rose to QAR 490.05 million from QAR 396.5 million.

Ezdan Holding, Industries Qatar, and QNB advanced 2.42%, 1.67%, and 0.26%, respectively.

Three sectors closed in green topped by the real estate sector (+1.78%), while three others closed in red topped by the telecom sector (-0.41%).

QIB was the worst performing stock after falling 4.49%, while Medicare Group led risers after adding 8.32%.

Ezdan made the biggest trading volume activity with 3 million shares, while Industries Qatar made the highest turnover of QAR 49.14 million.
