Mubasher: The benchmark index of Bahrain Bourse (BHB) ended Wednesday’s trading session up 1.72% or 22.72 points, closing at 1,342.75 points.
The banks sector topped the gainers with 3.5%, on the back of AUB, Bahrain Islamic Bank, and Al Salam Bank which rose 6.71%, 3.85%, and 1.79%, respectively.
The services sector edged up 0.1% on the back of Seef Properties which jumped 8.49%.
Meanwhile, the investment segment fell 0.27%, dragged by ABC which lost 1.35%.
Trading volume increased to 3.05 million shares, with liquidity standing at about BHD 708,450.
AUB was the most active stock on which 1.23 million shares were traded at a value of about BHD 961,010.
