Mubasher: The MSM 30 index of the Muscat Securities Market ended Wednesday’s session with an increase of 0.26% or 15.36 points to the level of 5,867.46 points.
Trading volume decreased to 0.93 million shares from 29.91 million shares exchanged on Tuesday, turnover also shrank to OMR 4.12 million from OMR 5.92 million.
The financial and industrial sectors ascended 0.5% and 0.27% respectively, while the services sector dropped 0.01%.
Port Services Corp, down 3.11%, was the top loser, while Oman Textile Holding, up 9.78%, was the top gainer.
Bank Muscat made the highest turnover of OMR 677,827, Bank Nizwa made the biggest trading volume activity with 2.9 million shares.
