EGX30 loses 55 pts at open

Cairo – Mubasher: The EGX30 index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) fell by 0.43% or 55 points to the level of 12,602 points during Wednesday’s early trading.

However, the EGX70, EGX100, and EGX50 indices rose by 0.68%, 0.38%, and 0.11%, respectively.

Trading volume reached 77.6 million shares exchanged at EGP 155.87 million.

Sales by foreign investors reached EGP 5.4 million, while purchases by local investors amounted to EGP 2.2 million and EGP 3.2 million by Arabs. Net sales by institutions reached EGP 20 million.

Global Telecom, Domty, Emaar Misr, TMG Holding, and Madinet Nasr Housing each declined between 4.8% and 1.1%. CIB shrank 1.33% to EGP 75.

On the other hand, AMOC, Amer Group, Egypt Kuwait Holding, Palm Hills, and Elsaeed Contracting each rose between 10% and 0.99%.
