Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) saw a negative performance in Wednesday’s early trades, in line with the fall of telecom stocks.
The general index slid 0.09% or 3.8 points to reach 4,603.73 points by 8:15am UAE time.
The telecom sector levelled down 0.48% as Etisalat decreased by 0.48%. The energy sector also sank by 0.48% after TAQA tumbled 2.08%.
On the flipside, the real estate sector rose 0.78% after Eshraq Properties and Aldar Properties grew 0.9% and 0.8%, respectively.
The market saw trading of 19.73 million shares through 178 transactions, with a turnover of AED 21.55 million.
Eshraq, which rose 0.9% to AED 1.13 per share, was the value leader after generating AED 13.9 million from the exchange of 12.4 million shares.
