Cairo - Mubasher: The ambassador of the United Kingdom to Cairo, John Casson, said that British investments in Egypt totaled EGP 30 billion ($1.9 billion) from 2011 until now.
Casson added during his meeting with the Egyptian minister of investment and international cooperation, Sahar Nasr, that three delegations of British companies and businessmen have recently visited Egypt to stress their interest in investing in a number of sectors in the Egyptian market.
The ambassador also pointed to the UK government's support to Egypt as part of the British partnership programme through financing a number of developmental economic and social projects.
