Kuwait – Mubasher: the indices of Boursa Kuwait started Sunday’s trading session with grouped rise on the back of the financial services and real estate sectors.
The price index levelled up by 1.6% to reach 6,541.05 points by 9:30am Kuwait time; both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices rose by 1.2% and 1.1% respectively.
Trading value amounted to KWD 27.54 million after 298.69 million shares were exchanged through 4,390 transactions.
The financial services segment topped eight gainers with 3.7% on the back of Al Mal and Coast which rose by 9.4% each.
The real estate sector gained 2.4%, in line with the 2.5% growth of Taameer and Abyaar.
The banks segment also edged up by 2.03%, as GBK rose by 3.9%.
