DFM up in Sunday’s early trades

Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) opened Sunday’s early trades in the green, backed by the rise of four sectors led by the investment and real estate.

The main index went up 0.26% or 9.01 points to reach 3,699.40 points by 10:30am UAE time.

The investment sector was the best performer after adding 0.82% as SHUAA Capital increased 2.5%.

The real estate sector levelled up 0.6% due to a rise in Emaar Properties by 0.26%.

On the other hand, the services sector slid 0.7% as Tabreed went down 1.07%. The consumer staples sector decreased 0.7% after DXB Entertainments lost 0.84%.

Turnover amounted to AED 431.65 million after trading 285.36 million shares through 2,421 transactions.
