TASI closes 0.33% higher

Riyadh – Mubasher: Tadawul All-Share Index (TASI) ended Thursday’s session rising by 0.33% or 22.42 points to the level of 6,875.87 points.

Trading volume decreased to 236.37 million shares from 242.5 million shares exchanged on Wednesday, turnover also shrank to SAR 4.42 billion from SAR 4.72 billion.

Ten sectors closed in green, topped by the banks sector after rising 1.35%, backed by and increase of 0.49% in Al-Rajhi Ban and 4.01% in National Commercial Bank.

Meanwhile, 10 other sectors closed on a negative note, headed by the materials sector after falling 0.29% as Sabic shrank 0.63%.

The green list included 82 stocks, topped by Electrical Industries, up 9.94% to SAR 25%, while the 83 stocks closed in red topped by Saudi Vitrified Clay Pipes, down 7.49% to SAR 7.90.

Sabic made the highest turnover of SAR 449.14 million, whereas Al Inma Bank made the biggest trading volume activity with 29.4 million shares.
