Mubasher: The main index of the Bahrain Bourse increased at Thursday’s close by 0.48% or 5.96 points to the level of 1,239.74 points.
Trading volume decreased to 3.95 million shares from 4.06 million shares exchanged on Wednesday, turnover also shrank to BHD 581,180 from BHD 772,810.
The commercial banks sector rose 1.21% as Ahli United Bank (AUB) and Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait advanced 0.76% and 0.71% respectively.
The services sector levelled up 0.11% due to an increase of 3.91% in Nass.
On the other hand, the Industrial sector fell 1.9% as Alba declined 1.99%, the investment sector dropped 0.05% due to a fall of 8.5% in Esterad.
Khaleeji Commercial Bank made the biggest trading volume activity with 1.4 million shares, while AUB made the highest turnover of BHD 597,200.
