ADX rises 0.19% at close

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The main index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed Thursday’s session rising by 0.19% or 8.79 points to the level of 4,704.70 points.

Trading volume reached 582.982 million shares exchanged at AED 590.495 million, compared to 183.17 million shares exchanged on Wednesday at AED 281.29 million.

The energy sector advanced 1.83% as Taqa and Dana Gas rose 2% and 1.79% respectively.

The real estate sector levelled up 0.99%, backed by an increase of 14.04% in Manazel Real Estate and 5.33% in RAK Properties.

The banks sector ascended 0.19% due to a rise of 2.01% in Bank of Sharjah and 0.75% in First Gulf Bank.

Meanwhile, the consumer staples sector declined 1.19%.

Eshraq made the highest turnover of AED 133.12 million, while Manazel made the biggest trading volume activity with 202.3 million shares.
