Mubasher: The MSM 30 index of the Muscat Securities Market declined at Thursday’s open by 0.12% or 6.79 points to the level of 5,713.97 points.
Trading volume reached 6.94 million shares exchanged through 280 transactions, making a turnover of OMR 2.52 million.
The industrial sector shrank 0.34% as Al Anwar Ceramic topped losers with a fall of 5.63%; the services sector declined 0.08% due to a decrease of 0.64% in Ooredoo Oman and 0.34% in Omantel.
Meanwhile, the financial sector advanced 0.21% as HSBC Oman grew 1.6%.
